Have you ever seen such a beautiful sight??

I was floored today when my boss handed me this gift bag from Anthropologie with a gift card in it for $200!! I am so happy! The story is this. I typically work at my company 1 day per week doing project work. It's the perfect schedule for our family! Well, I started working more hours in 2009 assisting for this boss when his previous assistant didn't work out. Things at this desk were in quite a disarray and for a year I worked part-time hours to try to help him straighten it out. All along I wanted to go back to my 1 day a week job, so I could continue homeschooling my kids, but I kept sticking it out, offering assistance until they found a replacement. In February this year, they finally found one! So, this gift was his thanks to me for helping him out during that difficult transition time. It was a very thoughtful gift. The card came packaged in this little cute monster! I can't wait to go shopping!

I can't seem to keep my laundry up.
I can't seem to keep my house picked up.
I can't seem to stick to a schedule.

Do I have adult ADD? I wonder sometimes. Why can't I be one of those people who jump out of bed at 6:00 am with tons of energy, bursting at the seams to check off my to-do list?

I keep waiting for the day I am completely organized, and my house is completely remodeled and decorated, and my dishes are always done, and I always feel like eating healthy, and I exercise every day and I stick to a schedule, and my kids get their lessons done completely every day.................I don't think that day is coming anytime soon.

Sooooo in the meantime, what we got here is LIFE. So, I'm going to quit waiting for my picture perfect life and start enjoying what I now have in my unorganized, half-way remodeled, somewhat decorated, frequently cluttered, Dove Chocolate filled, fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants schedule kind of life ....................because it doesn't get much better than this! I am BLESSED!

The best $8.50 I've spent in a long time!

We made a "snacky" lunch today because we are so enamored with our new Whirly Pop Popcorn Maker! I found it at ROSS marked down to $8.50. Yes, so worth it! We are using Organic Coconut Oil and Orville's Popcorn with Sea Salt on it to make the best popcorn ever! Here are the 3 at work making our lunch! Low-cal, whole-grain to boot!

The finished product- Popcorn, Organic Apples dipped in Organic Natural Peanut Butter!
